For a few standard galaxies we list their geometric parameters. Programs such as rotcur(1NEMO) and rvstack(1NEMO) will need these.
In the table below the center of rotation is listed in RA/DEC, as well as the VLSR (in km/s), followed by the inclination and the kinematic major axis (as defined by the receding side), and the near side minor axis (receding velocities if outflow along Z axis). If the galaxy has a bar, it’s relative position angle is also listed, both of these relative to the (kinematic) PA, add these numbers to get the PA of that feature.
As always in astronomy, position angles are measures from North, counterclockwise through East to South and West.
