rostat contains the current versions of statistical
routines being tested by T. Beers, K. Flynn, and K. Gebhardt for robust estimation
of simple statistics.
Alternative means to classify coefficients of skewness
and kurtosis, called symmetry and tail indeces, can be used as a more reliable
and robust means of comparing two different datasets to detect deviations
from gaussian (normal) distribution.
The following parameters
are recognized in any order if the keyword is also given:
